“So place yourselves under God’s authority[. ..] . Come close to God, and he will come close to you ” (James 4:7-8).
We are called to holiness, to righteous living, but the world that we live in is full of darkness. And with a hard heart, it can be difficult to differentiate between light and darkness. Soon we find ourselves dwelling in a place that is void of all that is good and lovely. Let’s pray that God would give us soft hearts that beat for Him, that He would return to His rightful place as our first love.
