Matthew 5:46-48- "If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

We have all been wronged in some way. Someone has done something to hurt us, and our flesh wants to fight back- to make them pay for what they have done to us. Jesus teaches that we should love those who have wronged us. We must lay aside our own agendas to make peace with those around us, even at the cost of our own pride.
Jesus teach us how to forgive. When it feels impossible, give us the strength to be kind to our enemies. Change our hearts to be more like yours, and make us peacemakers so that we might be called sons and daughters of God.
